It is the responsibility of every concealed firearm permit holder to learn safe gun practices and have a practical knowledge of the laws that govern firearms and the use of force. Permit holders also need to understand their personal abilities and limitations.
To eliminate incidents by providing excellent training and to properly teach to a high standard of firearm safety. All applicants should complete general familiarity instruction with the types of firearms to be conceal.
1: Safe loading, unloading, storage, and carrying of the types of firearms to be concealed.
2: Current laws defining lawful self-defense, use of force by private citizens, including use of deadly force, transportation, and concealment.
3: Basic handgun safety training
4: Fundamentals of Shooting a handgun.
5: We will review all Federal and State codes, rules, and regulations that pertain to firearms.
6: Justification of force, rules of arrest, weapons in prohibited areas/circumstances, weapons laws, assault, uniform firearm law, justification of force, force in defense of person/forcible felony, force in arrest, force in defense of property, deadly force in defense of persons, possession of dangerous weapons, firearms, or explosives in secure areas, threatening with or using dangerous weapons in a fight or quarrel, carrying a dangerous weapon, firearm on school property, civil vs criminal liability, and carrying a dangerous weapon while under influence of alcohol or drugs.
7: U.S. federal firearms regulations, school zones, interstate transportation, possession of firearms and dangerous weapons in federal facilities,
8: Firearms and children, Suicide Prevention.
9 am to 3 pm
Bring with you paper, pen, highlighter, snack, and water,
You will also need your firearm of choice and a minimum of 50 rounds, eye and ear protection.
